A Movie Based On True Story That Inspired Me

MOVIE ???..have you already watch any movies??..Haha..of course you do.. It's weird if you never watch at least a movie in your life unless you're still a baby..hehe..It's already 2015 guys!!! ..come on!!..We have cinemas..you can watch movies anytime you want..but most of us love to watch comedies, romantics, horrors and actions movies. What about inspiration movies?..We never notice that some of the movies are filmed based on the true stories...why? Is it because we just want to release stress by watching them?... we rarely get the lessons from the movies..agree??

Patch Adams movie poster

" PATCH ADAMS "
Have you ever watch this movie ?..some of you may have but some maybe not..It's one of the inspiration movies that will be motivated us ..so..for those my readers that want to be a great doctor in the future, you must watch this..it'll not wasting your precious time!! I didn't mean this movie is only for the future doctors..it's suit for everyone...believe me..:)..Lessons that you'll get by watching this will not disappointed you..I guarantee you..for those my readers that never watch this movie, here is its synopsis...so you can get a bit information about this movie...:

Hunter "Patch" Adams wanted to be a doctor; he wanted to help people. He learned of his gift in a mental hospital, where he had admitted himself. He realized that the conventional way of treating those injured, both physically and mentally, was not always the best approach; humor was. Just to laugh, to relieve and forget about the pain for just a few minutes, strengthened the patients.

And so he became a student and the Medical College of Virginia, awaiting the day when he would be able to treat people on his own. To his dismay, he found out that students were not to interact with patients until the third year. Nevertheless, he began visiting the hospital frequently, doing goofy things to please the patients, both young and old. His ways did begin to create a new life within the patients, but that didn't matter; he was not supposed to be there.

The Dean of the college, unpleased with Patch's behavior, tried multiple times to have him expelled. He saw Patch's ways as unorthodox and unproductive, even if they did no harm. Still, Patch's highly above average grades kept him in school.

Even while in school, Patch was looking beyond becoming just a doctor. He wanted to start his own hospital, the Gesundheit Institute, a place that was free and used less medicine, more humor. Most thought his dream was impossible, but some believed. However, his dream wouldn't come true unless he graduated, and when the College finds out he was treating patients without a license, his entire career is placed in jeopardy.

So now, you know a bit about this movie...the lesson that I get from this movie are :

       1. COMPASSION
It means feeling empty with people in suffer.
For a success doctor, if you treat a disease, you will win or you maybe will lose, but if you                  treat a person, I guarantee you, you'll win no matter what the outcome.

     COMPASSION ULTIMATELY WINS HEART

2. KNOW THE JOB
Doctor's job is improving the quality of life, not just delaying death. Doctors help the patients to have a beautiful life which means to help them to be more healthier than before. If I just delaying the death, I'm not helping them but I put them in pain.

FOCUS ON MY CORE JOB

3. RIGHT FOCUS
In every works that you do in daily life, if you just focus on problem, you can't see the solution. For a doctor, don't focus on the diseases, but focus on the treatments.

JUST FOCUS ON SOLUTION

4.SEE WHAT OTHERS IGNORE
This is really inspired me. Sometimes I just ignore a thing but then I realized that it's quite vital. See what no one else sees. See what everyone chooses not to see...please, out of fear, conformity or laziness.

RISE ABOVE MEDIOCRITY

5. I'M THE CAPTAIN OF MY DESTINY
From this movie, we know that others have the ability to keep him from graduating, they can keep him from getting the title (Dr.) and the white coat. But they miss one thing..a thing that bring us to success...SPIRIT,..yess...they can't control his spirit..

NO ONE CAN CONTROL ME EXCEPT I CONTROL MYSELF

6. BE FEARLESS
Every failure has seeds of success built in it. Have you ever heard this dialogue between Oprah and a success businessman?

Oprah            : What is your secret of your success?
Businessman : It comes from one words
Oprah            : What is it?
Businessman : Experience
Oprah            : So how did you get the experience ?
Businessman : It comes from two words
Oprah            : What is it ?
Businessman : Through failure.

7. OWN MYSELF
Accept who i am. It is because how can others accept me if I can't accept myself. Think about it guys..

YOU ARE THE FIRST BUYER OF YOURSELF

8.CHEER UP OTHERS
Patients are people in sad mood. So, when people in down or low, help them to move up. Don't go down with them. They'll pull you down further and both of you will end up feeling inferior. That's why most doctors are said arrogant. Actually they are not arrogant, but they try to control themselves for not being down with the patients.

MOTIVATION IS CONTAGIOUS AND SO IS DEMOTIVATED.

9. LITTLE THINGS FOR YOU CAN BE BIG THINGS FOR OTHERS
For example, sometimes a little things like a pat on the back can change their chemistry. Who knows..right? Think before taking any action...

SMALL GESTURES HAVE BIG IMPACT

This movie is really inspired me a lot. We just need to remember who we are and don't be so arrogant for what we had. Being a doctor is really tough but it is a nice job. Helping people is not so hard but helping people by taking a death risk really make us too nervous to do it. I hope you can spend your times by watching this movie. I believe that you'll like it. Like me...Hope you enjoy guys !! Bye..:)

My Life will be Different If I am Less Than One Metre Tall

'Oh god!!'..almost all the nurses that looked at me would say that. Born with the short stature doesn't cheer up my parent..they looked upset to have me.."poor baby, you'll face a tough life"..but no matter how do I look, they treat me with love. Never being neither shame nor regret to walk me around the park. That is the True Love. The doctor had confirmed that I am a dwarf.

How about my life? I mean how do I sleep? eating?..Hahaha..I just sleep on the mattress not bed because I don't have long legs to climb up my bed. My mom keeps all my books, my toys and my things on the shelves with just four inches high. It looks like I live in the barbie doll house. When I want to take breakfast, lunch or dinner, my mom or my dad will pick me up the chair like a two years kid. My clothes are the same size with kids clothes although I have been 11 years old.

"Hahahaha...a dwarf is walking!!!"..I hate to be treat like this but I must to face it every day. "Why they are so selfish, don't they think my feeling when they treat me like in the circus? am a human like me is not supposed to have a better life? those questions keep wandering in my mind but I don't have the answers. I just have my family to share my stories as no one wants to be my friends. But for me, my family is quite enough to make me laugh as they never shielded me from the world. My parent never stop me to do what I want to do except hiding.

Living as a little person really teach me to be tough. When I go to shopping, buying groceries or picnicking with family, my ears never stop from hearing people laughing at me. My eyes never stop looking at them pointing at me. It seems like I am a celebrity. A celebrity with no money and style. Hahaha.. When I make eye contact, they look away and try to hold in their laughter, but I can read their lips. Sometimes, they do something ridiculous. As I am walking in the mall, I notice a guy looking at me and bring his whole family to stand in the store window to laugh and jeer.

I played basketball in school, but not so very well as I'm not a tall person. My teacher taught me how to play well in this game and I found it's interesting and joyful game. I'd read the facts ; playing basketball can make us to be more taller than before. I mostly spent my leisure time by practicing basketball with my sister. She's a good player and I learnt more from her.

Friends?? who doesn't want to have friends? I really want to have many friends as I mostly spend my childhood with my only sister. I always dream to play with friends at the park, building a house tree, sharing stories like the normal kids did, but I don't have this chance. I never ask to be born like this, If I'd been given a choice, I'm sure I will not choose to be like this and all of us doesn't want to be like me...but what can I do besides accept this fate with open heart?

I can't dress up myself like Selena Gomez, and Angelina Jolly. Those celebrities have attractive body shapes..not like me, short like a kid. I can't wore a beautiful dress like them because it looks weird. The others will laugh at me dressing myself like that. I'm just only wear it in my dreams.

When I am 21, it's time for me to get a job so I can help my parents. But no company or shops want me to be their employee. I know I'm a disabled person, but I can be a cleaner, a seller and others. Since that, I just stay at home planting many vegetables such as watermelon, chilies and tomatoes. I swear to myself , I want to be a successful business woman.

I believe with this quote. I have through this bad days and I won't let it to happen again. Ten years had passed. Now, my dreams comes true. I have been a successful person. I have my own factory in producing tomato and chilies sauces. When I have been invited in Oprah shows, I become famous and have many friends. My life had changed. Then I realize, before being famous like this no one want to be my friends even they laugh at me every time they saw me but now I don't face it anymore.

Why most of us doesn't respect to each other? why we're always being a friend to a perfect person only..is it mean a dwarf like me doesn't have a feeling when we'd been treated like in a circus? is it because we are not human like you?...think about it guys..although I was a dwarf, we are same..you're a human and I'm also a human that seeking for another's love.
